Just got chatting to a lad off one of the facebook track groups about these gyro camera mounts and turns out he is also an ex Royal Marine so I thought I'd do him a good turn and see if anyone else was interested before ordering a couple for me and a friend. There's a link to a website with instructions on ordering all the parts (3d printed body , bunch of electronics,etc) and building your own but the cost of the fully built version works out cheap enough that it's not worth the time and hassle unless you like tinkering imo. The only downside I can see is that you have to drill holes into your spare back door of the GoPro in order to securely mount it, but I dont think thats too much of an issue as there's a big window in the back of the non waterproof back door anyhow. The price is £149 + £3.50 for the gyro plus power switch and long power cable to your bike battery. There's no profit in it for me, just thought some people might be interested as they look pretty good.

if it will fit a go pro it will fit genereic £40 ones too off ebay/amazon. The gyro looks like it works a treat.
Does he do 'Bootneck discount'? I did a couple of years in 45 as well, best stripeys mess in the Corps.
What does the unit look like though Dave, I'd hate to pay that sort of dosh for two pencils some blueback and some Pussers green string.
