Ha ha. Used to love skate boarding when I was young. Carnt think of anything I would rather not do than that now. ( not that I could even if I wanted to).
I adore the ludicrous optimism. The chances of those manoeuvres working out are considerably less then 50-50, but it's t-shirts and no helmets all the way. A&E must love them.
You would have thought with Natural Seletion and their inability to breed after those stunts that they would be extinct by now I always wanted a board - but never owned one
Had a skateboard in the late seventies. Thankfully I wasn't as brave/stupid as these guys. My two sons also took to it and they still laugh at me cos all I can do is a 720 spin - not seen them do it though. I don't think I should ever attempt to ride one again as I'm 50 next year and would be too embarased to explain why I have broken bones to the A&E staff.
I bought one earlier this year and learnt to ride it whilst my wife and I were taking our granddaughter out for a walk in her pushchair round Roundhay park in Leeds in the summer. People must have thought I was mad :biggrin: Having mastered just riding it I tried to do a trick and the board flipped up and twatted me on the hand. That hurt more than enough. Being the oldest skateboarder in Christendom I just stick to riding it now. :smile:
Every time I quickly look at the title of the thread it looks like "Halal Meat" to me. Note to self: lay off the curries for a bit!
