Today in the middle of a ride I noticed the left handguard looked different. It turned out that it was loose at the handlebar end, whether it would have finally rattled out completely I don’t know. Luckily one of my buddies had a 5mm Allen key. It took some fiddling, but it did finally tighten up. I will from now on check them periodically.
