Well it's taken a fair few years but i've finally over egged the pudding..... 748R on left is @Android853sp old bike and my new one! - to ride and cherish. 748SPS on right is a sort of barn find from deepest mid Wales. 6700 miles, history/provenance and has been standing in a garage not started since late 2012. Full nut and bolt rebuild on this one! One of the last to come into UK i believe, manufactured June '99 regd in March 2000 from Woods Abergele. Frame no ending 10430 - Will wait for V5 to get further info from Bologna. Proper happy days!!! Thx for everyones help: @Android853sp @nelly and anyone else who has contributed to the dream..... Full rebuild of SPS (to factory spec) will be available on build thread in ridiculous amounts of detail after i've built my new workshop........ If someone had said to me in my teens that happiness is due around your 58th birthday I would have told them to feck off...
Nice pair you've got yourself there. 853 is bound to be loadsa fun and the SPS is definately a real fun machine. Bought mine 6 years ago, it's a 99 same as yours and similar mileage st 5950. Great bike to ride, look forwards to the rebuild thread.
