Unfortunately, MW was so star-struck when he met and interviewed Schumacher that later on, when MS started cheating (barging) the likes of Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve off the track, MW took MS's side and wouldn't concede that such behaviour was unacceptable or even unsportsmanlike. After many slo-mo action replays of MS shown to deliberately drive into the side of others at corners MW still wouldn't say a bad word against his idol. So, having been interviewing team owners, world champions and pretty much every racing driver in F1 since before Schumacher was born - Juan Manuel Fangio, Graham Hill, Jackie Stewart, Phill Hill, Mike Hawthorne, Gilles Villeneuve, Frank Williams, Jaques Villeneuve, Damon Hill, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Jodie Schechter, Mario Andretti, Alan Jones, Emerson Fittipaldi, James Hunt, Nicki Lauda, Jack Brabham, Ken Tyrell, Colin Chapman, Keke Rosberg, Jean Alesi, Gerhard Berger and hundreds more - he was "star-struck" when he first interviewed Michael ?
