Rode into work this morning in the rain !!!!! The 600SS was brilliant took less effort than the car and I rode quick which surprised me......the thing is getting under my skin it's not quick but third gear is the one to be in and it just passes traffic without any dramas ....I have had 170 horse R1's and lots of other fast stuff over the years but this SS is floating my boat no end .....superb sound from airbox when gunned.......does it sound like I am smitten ? On the lookut for another maybe a 750SS and then maybe a 900SS..all red of course.......easy tiger :Nailbiting:
I regularly commute on mine, you are right they are a great little bike far quicker than 52 bhp would suggest, I keep looking around for a potential replacement including new bikes but I keep coming back to an SS, so a 900 might well be next!
Was out with my mate sunday he''s got a Guzzi 750 breva and he said after the ride he couldn't keep up with the 600SS which came as a surprise .... the handling on the Breva is not in the Dukes league though
I loved my 750SS, surprising quick, and the howl from the airbox when it was near the top of the rev range was glorious. I would have another tomorrow if I had the space!
