  1. Disappointing morning ,
Decided to go to work on the bike , did a couple of miles and my yellow frost light turned into an orange triangle , bike just died , lost all power.
switch wouldn't power the bike up at first and then it did , but it wouldn't fire.
waited a few minutes and then it did fire but the light came back on and it ran for about 10 seconds and then died again , it kept running this cycle and its now in the garage......very disappointed :(
Will ring Ducati today , its still in warranty luckily , gutted it let me down.
off to Spain in a few months so don't need that bollocks
    anyone else suffered this ?

  2. ECU Warning triangle rather than from triangle?

I have had mine come on for a rear brake sensor failure but nothing else, and nothing that stopped it going :)

  3. Lets hope its a quick fix & you get told exactly what happened. But the bike's electronics shut the bike down to protect you & it from damage.

  4. bike all fixed , needed a new ignition unit , old one failed so replaced with a spanker
one to look out for I guess

  5. Picked it up today all sorted
The red card worked well for the pick up and dealer sorted it out and updated the ecu , didn't notice anything
Switch had corroded inside so they out a new one on , it was the switch that houses the steering lock , the hands free gadget thingy
The orange warning in the top left of the screen
Ducati Manchester were quick and bang on with their service

Tried to attach some pics couldn't do it

  6. Not sure if this is what you are after but had a look at the workshop manual and its an error message (Letter 'A' below is the yellow triangle), it comes on with other lights to tell you there is an error but depends on what else comes on. I cant post the page but below is an extract from it:

    Error warnings

The instrument panel manages error warnings in order to allow the rider to identify any abnormal motorcycle

    behaviour in real time.

Upon Key-On, in case of errors, the instrument panel turns on the MIL light (B) (in case of errors directly

connected to the engine control unit) or the Generic Error light (A) (in case of any other errors).

During normal operation, when an error is triggered, the instrument panel turns on the MIL light or the Generic

    Error light (A).
