  1. hey gys / girls

need some help .. has anyone here tried to fit RRC RIZOMA rear set control kit on 848evo ?
just bought myself one and stuck with the rear break pedal ...

everything fits perfectly fine , and looks great great, but the rear break lever seems to be wrong.
when i installed it , it's very close to the lower fairing , and hits the fairing while using it ...
any idea what to do with that?
i wrote to rizoma they have sent me some extended end piece for the pedal but this doesn't help me in anyway , and its not the part that hits the fairing , its the entire pedal
the video will show you the problem

  2. Hi, I've never fitted them, so apologies if I'm suggesting nonsense, but have you tried adjusting the lever position so it sits higher at rest.. I'm thinking that it might then get full effect on the brake before it hits the fairing??

  3. I bought some of those and had exactly the same issue. Think it was my dealer who had a look and told me there isn't really a way around it without cutting the the fairing. Seems they are designed for use with race fairings or something like that.

I'm sure I ended up putting mine in a vice and trying to put just enough curve in it so it wouldn't come down and stop on the top edge of the bottom fairing and adjusted the brake so it operated further up. It still grazed on a bit of the fairing though. Right pita!
