Hi Guys, has anyone changed the OEM halogen bulbs “ the yellow look” to any of these brighter white bulbs or similar, if so which ones have you installed
I got some Phillips ultra white something or the other. To match the white of the leds I think the crystal white is the colour you want. They don’t seem to last as long based on using them in my car though.

Same here, changed for diamond white or a similar name. Skin on my knuckles has now grown back after fitting them.
Hi, so that’s the bulbs changed a bit fiddly and you require small hands, I used Philips, Diamond Vision, ultimate white light What a big difference
I see some have on the 1299 forum but I dont see the point as its fiddly and with the Philips diamond bulbs that I used on my 1199 there is no need. The SL comes with the Diamond white type bulb fitted, guess there is a weight saving upgrade for the S owners there, rip out the LEDs and fit base lamps, a reversal of the natural order of things!
