ok so we all know the headlights are crap whilst changing some wiring and the headlight bulb in search of a few more candles I noticed that my h4 bulb is fitted upside down to all other vehicles I have come across as in the centre pin at the bottom not the top is this correct for the ss ie and its different to everything else or is it wrong info found on the old tinternet says it should be fitted with the low beam reflector below the filament so the beam is reflected up onto the top of the reflector downwards onto the road if this is correct mine is reflecting into the sky unless the design of the headlight is different so which way up are your headlight bulbs fitted
Got a few headlights lying around - in all cases, the centre pin is at the top - the locating tabs around the base of the bulb will only allow fitment in one orientation anyway. If the tab locations on the bulb holder require the bulb to be fitted 'upside down' , it must be right? - there's no secondary reflector or other gubbins inside the lamp which would explain it?
