V4 Headlight Unit V4

  1. Hard to tell from this image if it is a flash reflection or not, but as yet it is unclear if both headlights come on when dipped/high beam or we are back to the cyclops arrangement of one side being high beam and the other being low beam. Interesting to note the arrangement of the IMU as well. Not sure how much space there will be, once all the wiring is in place

  2. If the IMU is attached to the headstock frame then that is a big improvement. Loads of people have a right nightmare trying to replicate the 1299 setup on top of the light unit with track fairings in a way that doesn't mess up the traction control. I ended up having to run a DP light blank as I was having such a mare with brackets and the TC coming in too soon.

  3. The IMU is mounted to the subframe as shown in the picture.

  4. The headstock frame (bit the dash mounts on) is what you are referring to as the subframe. Most people think of the rear when you say subframe.

  5. Yes apologies I meant the front subframe (instrument support bracket), thought not sure it's an improvement as you suggested, since the IMU on the 1299, also bolted to the front subframe.
