  3. You would be much better off if you revert the bike to stock (or close to stock) and sell other bits separately.
Anyway... good luck with the sale, stunning bike! :)

  4. Ditto the thoughts of iceman.

very, very nice bike, but in standard trim would lose maybe £1k, yet trick parts sold off could get you more like £2.5k (assuming the bits sell for 50% purchase price and you get hold of standard wheels for less than £500).

    Good luck recouping your cash.

  5. Yep, I'd strip that back to standard and sell everything off. There's nearly 2k in the exhaust and wheels, perhaps more.

  6. You probably correct as in standard trim its £9500 pound bike. Been looking at trading it in and shop declined it due to carbon wheels. I know of speculation about carbon wheels but the tests on these are ridiculas in reference to meeting standards.

Prob end up keeping it for another year. I also sold the standard s wheels so need to get a replacement.

I did purchase the bike new from the shop and they keen to shaft me on a trade in telling me £2200 to replace wheels. What they gonna do throw the carbon ones in the bin. That's another customer that will go else where !

  7. You wont get std wheels for £500 more like £600-700min and may need painting, but you may get someone who wants to do a deal on a swap plus cash. Shame they wont fit my 848 or I'd be raining the boys little piggy

  8. Think got about £650 for mine.

  9. What dealer said that about the wheels? Im interested to know....lol What a crock, more like one of them has there eye on the BSTs for themselves....! I know if I put mine up from the many Ive watched they will fetch 1500 - 2k on there own, still 600 quid off without tyres! Full system with ECU etc is easy another 1200 plus! Jesus cans alone are 1300! Nice bike that is someone would grab a deal if they got it, shame I don't have the cash or Id snap it up, love these chancers who play a deal down just to try and grab it super cheap!

edit : Oh and a SHIT pair of BSTs and I do mean SHIT chips, corroded hubs etc etc sold on eBay last week for a grand!

  10. Was offered 9200 for bike from Glass guide. No negotiation minus 2 grand to replace the wheels as they feel the BST wheels are to fragile. Ha ha. I pissed my self and explained as a valued customer will take my business else where. Does make you wonder why bother with such exotic bike as we not all rich with holes in our pockets. I work hard for owning something like this at the expense of some knob thinking you gonna listen to bull crap like they spewing.

  11. I fully agree, I sold a bike this year and had to put it back to standard to do so, oddly it went for the same money less near 2k's worth of bling, work that out, then sold the bling so made extra cash...lol you can't give it away....lol

  12. Then probably start again with the extras. Crazy world we live in.
