Anyone had any issues with the heated grips not turning off ? I had a play with mine the other night and have been unable to get them off since. Luckily it's on Min. That will teach me to play about with the damn things. It's in for its first service now and they are still stuck on now so they will have a look at them so glad in a way I tried them out before my first service so they can be sorted. Sounds like my bike has a few electrical gremlins already. ;-) Fuel cap wouldn't work at all so they sent it back and now heated grips are stuck on. I still love it though. ;-) can't wait til I get it back and I can have some real fun on it without having to watch the revs.
yip, got oxford ones fitted half way up the rd (60mls) stuck on full wouldnt switch off. couldnt be arsd to go back down for repair. replaced with a set that switches it self when not charging work well now for last 6 months
HEATED GRIPS!!!!... IN THIS WEATHER?!!!!! You really are a chilly mortal, or should I say. " A real cool dude "..
I was having a play with them at the lights whilst waiting. That'll teach me. But in my defence it was pissing down with rain. Good old Scotland for you I suppose. ;-) It's the factory original ones too. They just stay up on the dash as Min and no mode display etc.
I had something similar - when I looked at the button for the starter / heated grips, it was stuck in slightly. After a push and wiggle the button came out a bit and the heated grips display stopped coming up (set to off, luckily) . It has only happened once, so far. SteveB MTS1200S Touring, 2013
