Hi guys The Heated grips (factory fitted on ST model) on my multi are not working and it seems that i have an issue with the dealer since my multi is still within the warranty period (2 years). The dealer said that a wire seems to be cut and is not sure if this should be a warranty issue. he will let me know. What do you guys think? i' m going to pick up my bike later on and i sure like to have some idea before i open up my wallet if he asks for money (which i sure don't want to). Cheers
It's covered... Why wouldn't it be? It's not a consumable part, it's broken. It's under 2 years... Therefore it's under warranty...
The dealer should be fighting your corner, all he needs to do is tell Ducati that the grips have failed due to going open circuit. The labour and cost of components comes from Ducati, not out of his pocket.
