Hi all, I was lining up my new number plate last night and noticed the heel guards are at different angles when viewed from behind the bike, is this the same on yours? Or has some git walloped mine before I got it????
They are at different angles. It's to with clearance on the lefthand side. There is room to bend it back slightly if you feel it sticks out too much. Main thing to check is that the edge is not too sharp, there have been stories of the left heel guard wrecking boots. When i had my stock heel guards I took them off the bike and filed all the sharp edges and also bent the LH side slight back. I'm now running Carbon jobbies.
