Hi, so after a longish gap from a fantastic yellow 916 that I sold about a decade ago, I collected a 959 Panigale today. It feels great to be back! Have ridden S1000rr’s and other litre stuff for a while, and whilst they’re great, they dont have that Ducati thing. Didn’t realise how much i’d missed it I’ve not even looked at how to post pictures yet, but will get some sorted as soon as i’m able. Will include the very much missed 916. The 959 is a one-owner, fdsh bike with a bit over 4k miles. My wrists already ache, just like they did on the 916! Am very happy, and today has been a very good day Justin
Good choice! Infinitely more rideable than a 916 but still with loads of soul. In April I moved from my 2015 R1 which is the best bike I’ll ever own, back to a 899 and love it to bits.
Ah, posting photos…is there a “how to” sticky anywhere? I have looked, but it may have been a “man-look”, and couldn’t see anything. I have tried getting a photo link and pasting it, but just get the ? in a box thing. Bins on standby
I know exactly how you feel. I bought my Ducati 998 new in 2002, had 13 years with her then sold to a friend as I needed the money. I was blessed to be able to buy her back about a month ago, here she is and still rides like new!
