hi all, and firstly let me apologise for my first post being about the sale of some bikes, not mine may i add. Reason i was directed here, is because i have no idea what this bike is worth and if i should possibly buy it so hopefully you guys can help me out. Sister in Laws dad has 2 bikes in his garage, inherited recently due to his brother passing away. The first is a Ducati 500 1980 and the other is a GSXR 400 1990, which i wont go in to detail about but if anyone is interested just let me know. ok on to the Ducati, sorry for lack of details, but this is all i have at the moment Ducati Desmo 500 'Pantah' 1980 Mileage : 18427km MOT july 2015 (so still running) full service history and log books, keys So, whats it worth is the main one, is it all standard? are these collectible? any major issues with them? I would only be buying it as a summer fun bike as i normally ride a KTM RC8, but i just like the old school styling of this, plus if its collectible be nice to have for the future. thanks all
aye i thought maybe around £3000 as it doesnt seem to be standard colours and also not sure what work would need to be done, though it has been running and does have an MOT.
