Hi, Glad to be here! Just acquired a 1991 Ducati 900 Supersport. It has been stored for 14 years, a non-runner. I have a daily rider (Honda NC700) which I commute on all year round. I have had a range of bikes, but this is my first Ducati. It is also my first sport bike. I've been looking for a 50th birthday project. I first looked at British twins (my dad had a Rudge 500 Special in the 1950s). I went to Stafford show this year but soon realized anything decent is silly money at the moment. I started to look at some Ducati's as I have always liked the look, and I fell for the Desmodue 900 - love the sound and style of the early 90's bikes. Tempted by a few superlights, but I decided to go for the original model year instead. I love the look of the white frame and the simple DUCATI graphic on this particular version so I'll go for as original as possible, but that might change as I learn more from those with experience. I hope to get it restored ready for April 2016. Are there any runs next year I should be aiming to book up? Phil
