Hi all, I have owned my 916 for ten years. Currently off the road as the starter motor failed after a small amount of vibration at 3 to 4k. Once I stripped the alternator cover off. I found the crankshaft had play. Put the starter back on and the sprag clutch packed up. I am hoping to get the engine repaired and the 916 back on the road. I have been running a blog since i owned the bike. regards Vinnychoff.
