  9. Welcome Dave. Sorry to hear about your Paul :(

  10. here goes are you sitting comfortably ?
    bought a brand new scrambler full throttle late august last year from metropolis motorcycles london
    fast forward saturday 1 st may engine went bang phone ducati asst and was told they have never heard of me or my bike called the dealer sorted and collected on the monday
    the dealer then left the bike sitting in the workshop for nearly 2 weeks before they even looked at it then said the engine was badly damaged and compiled a parts list sent it to ducati uk who said they would order a complete new engine which they sent within one week
    now metropolis had the new engine on friday last week i called today and they said they wont be installing it until SOMETIME next week.
    so next monday they would have had my bike for 5 weeks.
    i must say ducati uk and ducati italy have been fantastic with this the only weak link in all this is metropolis motorcycles the customer service is non exsitant.
    there you go
    thanks mate.

  11. That's shit! Hope you have better luck with the new engine.

  12. Well, "welcome" but shit that is a crap bit of service. Hope you get your bike out of their workshop and back with you soon. And then hopefully the sun will come out in time as well!

  13. Welcome, Barry. Dealer situ sounds pretty annoying. Hopefully there's another you can use in the future.

  14. Welcome Barry, have they offered you a demo in the interim?

  15. hello
    and thanks for your replys.
    and to answer your question nigel no they do not give out bikes overnight
    let alone for weeks.
    they said their insurance does not cover that only for test rides.
    go figure !!!
