Hi there. I'm looking at a 1000 DS 2003. I ride a Vara 1000 at the moment. Looking to get something different,and the DS seems to be it!! Any thing I should be aware of? It's got flaky paint on the engine. Can this be rubbed down and painted? It's done 13000 miles with a stamped service book. I'm going back for another look.
Welcome drop a post in the relevant section for your potential bike and you will get more help/pointers from owners. The paint always flakes, some rub down and re paint in situ, some remove the engine to do it properly - there are many threads on flaky paint
