Hi there, I'm Greg from Aberdeen, long time Ducati fan and lurker on the forums I purchased my '95 600ss on a whim back in May. It's not been plain sailing since then, I've had issues with clutch slip, poor running and to top it off loss of compression in the horizontal cylinder, I'm slowly getting there and can't wait to get the bike back on the road as I've loved every one of the few miles I've managed on the bike. Will be posting up about specific technical issues soon in the hope that your collective wisdom will be able to keep me on the straight and narrow but I'll spare you that for now.
Good thanks, although a little bit miffed at not having had a working bike since June! Rode my pals CBR600 today, it's no Duc but f**k me it reminded me how much I miss my bike.
I'm in Fife now but lived in Rosemount, Torry, Balnagask and then moved out to Pitmedden. That was between 1981 and 1994.
Is it red :Muted: Hello and welcome to the mad house Lovely bikes the SS but I'm biased Oh do you know finm he lives by you
Yup, it's very red, it is lovely but I'm being tempted by a 748 that's sitting in the local dealer... Ah, unlikely that we've crossed paths in that time, by 1994 I was just 7.
I don't remember any garages but then again I don't remember what I had for breakfast. Eh... have I had breakfast? Anyway, I was running around on a Suzuki GS750 when I lived in Torry and Balnagask. It had a badly painted dragon on the tank.
