Hi Everyone Bought my 1199 in October. my first ever Ducati. I have always wanted a Pani, since they came out, but affording one was the problem. But with a PPI claim that was amazing and deciding to sell my 6 month old Z1000se, I decided to get the bike I had always wanted. I had never rode a Panigale before, so first had a test ride on one from Ducati Coventry. Kin eck it seemed fast and noisy, but I loved it. I sold the Quacker in 2 days of advertising it, and looked around for the ideal bike. This I found in Carlisle, and a Chaz Davies replica.Just 4 months old. I have 2 other bikes in the garage, a B-King and customised Bandit 1200, but the Pani is the top dog. Just need the good weather to ride the beasty !!
Yo Shaun. Yep sure did. Got rid of then a couple of years ago, and went back to bikes. Get more enjoyment out of these. Got a couple more bikes in the garage at the mo as well. A B=King and a 1200 Bandit street fighter. Even Daz Turner has sold his koi as well. He rides an Mv F3 800
Hi mush small world!! I never thought you or Darren would sell the fish, they are a lot of work though & the bikes are defiantly a lot more fun. Nice bike by the way, & Darren's MV is one that I've thought about getting aswell. I've got a pani tricolour & love it. Can't wait till the suns out so I can get it back on the road again. You'll have to give me a shout some time & I'll show you & Darren some great welsh roads!! I thought there could only be one Mushio from Burton, By the way are still doing your electric six & elvish shows?
Hi Mush, I lived near BOT and worked in Horninglow Road about 35 years ago. Still got friends in the neighbourhood. Welcome
hi mush, where abouts in burton are you. i live in winshill, got my 1199 in december but not had chance to ride it yet.
Yo Shaun. I was going to buy a Tricolour, but opted for the ABS version. It was only 4 months old and 5 grand cheaper. I was going to get a new one, then have it sprayed in the GP or Pramac colours, but I found the WSK bike. Its the best bike I have ever had without a doubt. Love the power and how well it handles. Also I am a bugger for wheelying, and having it lift on the power in 3rd feels so good. I will be wazzing it round Donny as soon as the weather changes. Last year I was using the B-King for track days. It is ded fast, but a bulldozer round the bends. Hopefully soon I am buying another bike just for tracking, maybe another Pani, or a RSV4. Just waiting for some money to come through. Will see Daz again at the weekend and tell him about you and see when we can pop over. And yes I still sing Gay Bar every now and again. lol. Yo Shakey. I live in Winshill as well. Not far from The Sump. Kinver road, just off Mill Hill Lane near the bottom. I ride it whenever the roads are dry at the weekends at the mo. We get quite a few bikes at the pub now, even the innkeeper has a V-Max. Its sitting my garage at the moment. Pop down on a sunday afternoon, and ask for me, or any night actually. I live too close to the place !!! Everyone knows me, maybe you do already. That's great you have a Pani as well. Be good to have a ride out. Where you live then ?
hey mush, small world . i live on mill hill lane. get down the sump now and again, was in there a week or so ago. maybe i do know you , whats your name, and yes we should go for a ride out when the weather gets better
Martin Barnett I live in the new houses on the old Ada chadwick site. Been there around 12 years now and lived in 3 houses there. Currently got one up for sale. Hope it sells soon , as it will fund another bike. I go in the Sump most nights, Just come back from there actually. But off the beer at the mo, due to Kidney stones. So drinking squash for a month or two. Wheres your place then. I cant remember seeing any bikes on Mill Hill lane.
im at the top end of mill hill opposite the entrance to the graveyard ,by the turning for newfield road. i bought a 899 in july and loved it but it just lacked a bit of grunt after a 1098, so did a deal on a 1199 and just waiting for the weather to turn. my name is wayne howard, your name doesnt ring any bells
Yo Wayne. I used to live in Newfield road many years ago with my mother. If you go in the Sump, ask the bar staff for 'Mush'. They will point me out. We normally sit by the pillar by the bar, or are playing darts. We all go out for rides in summer. Some of us are going to Assen to the MotoGP in June. I go every year. There's loads of bikers local to us. Be good to see you around.
From Sutton Coldfield. Worked in Burton for many years in the 80's. happy days drinking in the Roebuck.....
