Wanted to drop everyone a line to say hello. I'm looking fprward to reading about my fellow Ducati fans in the U.K. As a member of the Ducati Owners Club of Canada . (D.O.C.C.) Look us up on facebook. I'm hoping that we may be able to share some information. Track day set ups, hot bike set up etc. Thanks Dave
Hi and a warm welcome to Europe's best Ducati forum. What would you like to know... :Muted: :Hilarious:
Welcome Dave. I was in Richmond, Vancouver in August this year - went to visit the wife's brother. We rode from downtown Vancouver up to Whistler one morning, me on his 600 Ninja and him on his mate's 600 Blade. Holy shit, your roads are like carpet compared to ours, felt like a track day! The acknowledgement every 30 seconds of a biker going the other way got a bit trying, but nice though. Here we just nod. Also, whats the no lane splitting thing all about? Defeats the object of a bike, no? We did it actually, felt like a pair of outlaws the way the mums in oversized 4x4's honked at us - they acted like they had just witnessed a murder!
Unfortunately no. I have an uncle that is a mounty as well. Problem is Calgary is just as far from Toronto Ontario as Emgland
Thats probably only in British Columbia, here in Ontario most of the roads are flat and straight. Like dragstrip I suppose. Different track day
Thanks hopefully we will have plenty to discuss. In the process of building a track bike out of a 06 999. Cheers
