Hi everyone Having finally decided to get round to using the 748 on track days I thought I would launch in and happily either listen to some expertise or contribute to anything I can (probably not much I'm afraid but always happy to try). So if you're on a track day next year and you see a yellow 748 with somebody trying to ride better than they obviously can - feel free to come and say hello as it may be me ! Look forward to any advice as always happy to understand where I am going wrong ! Oh - also if you have any crash bungs/mushrooms please feel free to offer as I am on the look-out...... Cheers, Paul.
Ha ha ha ha ha - that's the first time I've heard a 748 called a beast ! My mates "still don't know how I keep up with so little power". They just haven't twigged I set off 1/2 hr before them........ Picture of bog std 748 attached with the only extras being double bubble screen and the youngest daughter. Your 899 would be my way forward but I would need the missus to let go of the purse strings :-(
Cheers for all the welcome everyone. And to you all above that are literally just down the road ( I am in Lindley) if you ever need anything, just gimme a shout - always happy to help if I can.
The chippy in Outlane ranks quite high on my list. As does Hollowgate. And Lindley Fish Bar. I used to live in Meltham (worked in Lindley at th'ospital) now Westgate chipshop.... That's a chippy.... Mushy pea fritter (looks like a battered tennis ball)... No contest!
