  1. Evening everyone. I’ve been hanging around for a long time and picked up lots of tips and ideas.
Just been fiddling in the garage with a new addition to my 1260s. 7FFFFD33-8286-4CAF-9C78-4193165360A6.jpeg
My friends run Evotech performance and I’ve just got the 1st sat nav mount to try. What do you think. I like it, had a navihalter before but this look nice.

  2. Welcome from out of the shadows :):upyeah:

  3. That's a yes from me... how does it perform? I think it looks a lot nicer than even the Ducati one. The only immediate thought would be "cable management". I really like Evotech Performance, you're lucky to get to try their stuff out! Any more Multistrada stuff in the works from them? Some hand-guards would be nice, using the original LED indicators but a bit more "engineered" than the plastic ones.

    Anyway, welcome local bloke!

  4. The image shows cable attached down the side with cable clamps. I have just redone without cable clamps and I think the cable sits better. I hope to try out over the weekend, the navihalter shook a bit so fingers crossed for this. It feels proper solid.
They are currently working on a tail tidy.

  5. Welcome Dave and thread moved btw

  6. Welcome - some great roads in Lincs :upyeah:

  7. Welcome along Evotech are top notch

  8. Looks well made, sturdy and evil!
But as someone mentioned, cable management could improve.

  9. Welcome to the forum. :)

  10. You look kind of cute and cuddly;)welcome aboard the flag ship:upyeah:

  11. Welcome Stripey. Liking to look of that. Have various Evotech bits on my 1260 and rate them highly, all top quality and well designed. I have the Ducati mount for my Zumo 560 and it's not perfect, rattles around a bit. Might well be interested in changing for this if its a solid mount. Thanks for the heads up. Any idea when it'll be available?

  12. I’ve just been testing this weekend. 1st ride had a bit of shake, but after the addition of a small foam pad the 2nd ride was fine. This prototype was for garmin. The backing plate rotates 90 deg to cover the fitting of 595 and the 395 models ?? They are also doing Tom Tom models I believe.
I have the 595 so the mounting plate has the cable exciting bottom right. This makes it hard to loose the cables completely.

  13. I’d still have one in a heartbeat!

  14. Welcome to the Ducati forum
