Hi all, I'm from Maidstone and POSSIBLY going to get a 959 Panigale, I am choosing between a very strange mix of bikes at the minute...I've just sold my Evo and looking to get a bike again after a bit of a break. The 3 i'm looking at are: Daytona 675R (Cheapest, lowest power, dimensions seem to make it look really tall and thin) F3 800 Solar Beam (1 of 200, good ratings but expensive for what it is and nearest dealer is 2 hours away) Panigale 959 (Most power, best looking, dealer very close, highest insurance by a fair margin) I'm not looking for opinions, as posting on a ducati forum will give me slightly bias answers haha I'm after a fairly powerful mid super, i used to have a 2007 ZX6R but haven't rode in nearly two years so i'm still fairly inexperienced but i'm sure it will come back to me. I also want it to be between 600cc and 999cc I have the test ride on Monday on the 959 and 675R, but i think i've already chosen the 959! Hopefully soon i'll be along saying i've bought it. Thought i'd come and say hello and ask, what are the 959's like riding around the roads, commuting etc? I will probably commute 4 or 5 times a year, mainly just blasting around randomly, going to shows, never track!
It is, but the Ashford branch. I don't know much about them but they seem big so must be pretty decent?
Mine too came from ashford Laguna They were alright, general concencus is that they are good to buy from but a mixed bag in terms of service
Welcome. I'm from ashford and visit laguna often. Out of all the stores, the Ashford branch is the better shop. Rest I find are bloody rude. I think it will be a close call between the daytona and the 959 I was going to get a daytona but went for an 848 my reason was the ducati got abit more character. And cheaper. Not ridden the 959 so cannot comment. Would be nice to say buy the ducati but I think either bike would be a result. Now if you said a Gsxr or r1 than that's a different story.
