Hi, I have just signed up to test the waters before joining the Ducati set. I have 2 friends with Multis and they are both well pleased with them and after a change of clocks on the older Pikes Peak Bike they are both properly reliable. Both are used for touring abroad and our weekly jaunts around localish A and B roads and as I write this the 1200S is headed for Spa. I am looking more towards a used Diavel Carbon as I am selling my long term Buell X1 bought new in 2001 and I think a Diavel is probably the modern equivalent. I have another friend who has had one since 2012 and he sings it’s praises but I am a careful old git when it comes to parting with large wedges of hard earned cash so I will scan this forum with interest. I have taken a deposit on my Buell so it is tucked up in the garage on the trickle charger waiting for the buyer to come home from Oz and I cannot ride it.
