I know it's not an original thread title! Seems like there are a few Duc riders around these parts. Hope to bump into some of you this season. Been with Ducati for a while now. Currently on an 899. Bike up for a service at 'you know where' in a couple of weeks time then my season starts. Fair weather rider most of the time unless touring over a long weekend when I've ridden through it all. Hope to catch up sometime. Safe riding. Chris
I see your around Caistor My favourite route takes me through there on the 1198 on a regular basis when the weather is fine. One of my favourite routes is out from Brigg to Horncastle
Hi Ben, Thanks for the msg. Good to hear from you. Yes, that route is one of my favourites too. So you're one of the twins I can hear from the house barrelling down the road on a fine Saturday /Wednesday evening? Still a bit early for me to be out and about but maybe a bimble to Willingham or Horncastle can be arranged. Cheers, Chris
I guess Italia Moto are doing the service? Great bunch of guys and always been excellent with me I would guess it's more than likely you've heard me barrelling down the road a good few times, there's nothing subtle about the bark of the 1198 with the Zards on it It would be great to have a run out some time when I'm back, I work away on a 2x2 week rota but like to get out as much as possible when the weather plays ball. I'm a fair weather pansy too I'm afraid. Were not too far from you (Burton-upon-Stather)... Mrs M has also just started lessons for her Direct Access so I'm hoping she will be on two wheels within a couple of weeks too. Just bought her a nice 796 Monster from Italia Moto which I'm hoping to either collect or have dropped off next time home. There is a Lincolnshire thread in the 'Ride Outs and Meets' section of this Forum too, last years thread was great and I managed to meet quite a few from here at various locations throughout last summer which was great. Cheers, Ben.
Yes, Italia are doing the service. Can't wait to get her back and know she's ready to go. Of course it'll rain either there or back, or both But that'll be the excuse to spend some time getting out the polish. Great to hear you're going to be a two rider family. good luck to Mrs M with the DAS test. That's how I passed mine many moons ago. Up for a meet up and rideout sometime. Keep in touch and let me know when you're home. I work 9-5 normally so week days are not so easy, but not impossible especially if the weather is good. I'll keep an eye on the Lincs rideout thread. Spring will be here soon. Can't wait. Cheers, Chris
