  1. Hi Guys

Having owned a ZZR1400 from new for 6 years its time to change it for something more upright as the missis is complaining so am looking at a multistrada.

Had a test ride on Saturday and loved it, however being use to the ZZRs turbine smooth engine it took some getting use to the shaking and vibrating Ducati engine, its like a living beast which vibrated more as you reved it. I do alot of 2 up riding going to europe a couple of times a year. How do people get on with touring their multistrada? do you just get use to it and switch off or does it get tiring after a short while.

ZZR is currently on sale at fleabay then its off to the dealers with a wad of cash in hand.

Also, whats the difference in between the 2010 and 2011 model, currently looking at a 2001 S and any issues I should look out for

    Thanks :)

  5. Hi and welcome.
PICK recently got a 2013 MTS120 GT and the first test drive didn't float my boat as I had the same worry a as you.
But the dealer left it with me and I returned 2 weeks later for an extended test ride and gave me 4 bikes to have a go on. After spending near 7 hours between these bike I was sold. It's something you get used to very quickly.
I too chose the MTS1200 for the option of 2 up and also that bit of fun and at nearly 500 miles into it loving it more each day.
If you spend a few hours trawling the multistrada forum page I'm sure you will find everything you need to know and every worry you will have already been covered.
    Good luck with the sale.
