Hi everyone! Proud owner of a Panigale V2 here! got the bike last year and absolutely love it! It turns heads everywhere and gets a lot of compliments which is great! actually have a bit of an issue after prepping it for getting back on the road after its winter sleep! I’ve just got the stock exhaust on it right now and it looks like it’s having some issues, had a engine light appear and my code reader is pointing to the flapper valve in the exhaust not working properly. Does anyone know on their V2 if the valve is open or closed when the bike is off, looks like mine is closed all the time but not sure if there’s a way to check if it’s operating properly or not? any help greatly appreciated!!
Welcome. A sticking exhaust valve is common across most recent Ducatis. There should be more specific info, for yours, in the Panigale sub-forum. Various solutions, usually involving disconnection and then cheats, ranging from free to paid for plugin modules to eliminate the error on the dash.
