Hello everybody Owning a beautiful 94 750SS that is about to begin a full restoration process, it looks like this is the right place to ask for help, share experiences and talk about weird, lovable and temperamental bicylindrical italian machines. My name is Antonio (friends call me Tom) I'm from Madrid and this is my first time with a Ducati (though it is not my first motorbike retoration) I have just finished a long two years full overhauling of a lovely nervous Kawa ZZR600 (1990) that you can see here if you are intrested. Macro RestauraciĆ³n Finalizada : Fotos Kawasaki ZZR 600 (sorry everything is in Spanish) Old telecom engineer, much in love with bikes, cars, model ferraris (largest catalogued 1/24 scale ferrari collection in Europe) RC Planes and all sort of toys... Thnk you for your kindness and hope I will learn a lot here
Hola Tom You will learn plenty here, some knowledgable members I love the SS Watch out for the locals Thank you for joining us
Thank you all for your welcome. Here's the lady!! She looks nice from a certain distance but will have to be fully overhauled before leaving agin the cave. I've been road testing her this morning and she makes more cling and clang sounds that I woul like. The worst part is that when you begin to rev her up, when reaching 4000 RPMs, shuddenly loses power and quits pushing. She continues running but its like being with half the horsepowers she should be delivering.ead:ead: A bit puzzled about that (looks like an issue with carbs). Any suggestion? Here are a couple of pics more of her in my man cave sitting next to her sister (currently for sale) Next week I will begin assesing all that needs to be done starting a separate project thread. Enjoy the view... She's gonna be stripped down to the bare bones  Tom
