Welcome to the forum. I plan to spend a few days in Slovenia as part of my World Ducati Week 2016 European tour. My parents visited Lake Bled last year and said Slovenia had beautiful scenery and lots of hotels with signs saying bikers welcome and there were a lot of motorcyclists there. Any particular recommendations on roads/places to stay in Slovenia? Would the Lake Bled area be a good area to head for?
We got a ton of great roads for motorcycle riders,it depends on how long you are planning to stay in Slovenia. A great one day trip is the river Soca/Isonzo valley road, then to the Bled lake and over the Predil pass. I advise you to stay away from the most famous Slovenian pass, the Vrsic pass, since it is overcrowded and the road surface can be very dangerous for motorcyclists, especialy in wet weather...
