Hey there, I'm Jeffrey and just joined to learn about my newest project bike- a beat up and neglected 1996 900 SS. This bike will take some time to get back on the road and I am in the beginning of the parts collecting phase for the body/lights and other exterior parts that are missing or damaged. I was told when it last ran it was on one cylinder so I am sure ignition problems will have to be dealt with soon. I am hoping that with just under 20K miles it will not have to have an engine rebuild immediately but a complete diagnosis will happen over the summer as I clear out some other projects already in the works.
