Hi, thought I should post as over the last decade or so of owning various Ducati's i've gleaned very useful info from here off and on! I'm currently Ducati less, but next Spring i'm fairly set on a Multistrada next so will be looking/asking on that forum in the future. The Ducati's i've owned so far have been: 2011 Ducati Monster 1100 Evo Of the dozen or so bikes i've owned over the years, if I could have any of them back it would be this one! Genuinely gave me a buzz every time I saw it. Riding it was just brilliant, even commuting in central London. 2016 Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle When these came out I couldn't resist, the simplicity of the bike was spot on. This bike actually took me down the path of multi bike ownership as I couldn't bring myself to sell it when the next bike caught my eye. 2018 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled And that was this bike. So I knew I loved the characteristics of the engine, but then adding the Desert Sled treatment meant that I could take it off-road. Adding a rear rack meant I could tour on it. Great memories of trips into Wales, Lake District, Northumberland on this. I'm selling a few bits and pieces from the Scramblers i've owned, so check out the For Sale section if you're looking for CNC Aluminium Mirrors, Levers, etc; Hepco & Becker Tail Rack; Desert Sled Low Seat; Puig Handguards and Front Plate; a couple of Jackets.
My only experience on the Multistrada to date was as a loan bike when mine was being serviced a while back, so didn't get any decent time with it as headed straight to work. But felt very capable (like the others i'm considering tbf) but on brief first impressions just gelled with me a little more than the others.
