Hello everyone, my name is Chris, i am from Greece, i am 28 years old and i currently live in Birmingham. I am in love with the 696 since it came in production in 2008,unfortunately the econimical crisis did not let me fulfil my dream but i have never stopped thinking about it. So, here i am in uk now, working, trying to build a new life and trying to acquire the monster of course I popped up at the ducati store in wolverhampton to check the new trioption finance , since getting a new monster for 89 pounds per month seemed an amazing idea, but once again i meet obstacles in fulfiling my dream since i am not eligible for the trioption because you have to live in uk for at least 3 years, whereas i live for 3 months I will try to save some money and hopefuly i will get a used one by next year. So if anyone knows a decent 696/796 or 1100 with the dry clutch, give me a shout. Safe rides, Chris
Hello again everyone! I am officially a monster owner! Did a massive leap though, since in my first post i was looking for a 696/796 and today i bought a brand new 1200!!! As Ducbird said, all good things come to those that wait! The funny thing is that according to the banks im not "reliable'' enough to be given a finance because i have been uk resident for only a year and their minimum requirement is 3, but within that year i managed to gather all the money and bought it cash!
