I'm toying with the idea of adding a couple of stripes to the side of my Multi and need rough measurements of the Pikes peak stripes if anybody could help? I will be getting my bike painted pretty soon but until funds allow id like to see what something would look like, so will just get something done out of a good quality cast vinyl. measurements id really like are below and then I'll try and get somebody to make a vector of it. I could do with the distance between the stripes near to points A & B. I'd also like the starting thickness of the stripes , the length and then a measurement of the stripe thickness more towards the end so i can work out the taper Its only the smaller red stripes im after, not the big central white stripe (my bikes white so not going to work)

A=215mm B=260mm These are the approx measurements of the black vertical lines,i think thats what you are after ? Start thickness of both stripes 12mm with a taper to a point o/a length of top stripe 650mm o/a length of bottom stripe 505mm stripe thickness 100mm from the point 4mm Hope that helps a little.
thanks mate, appreciate that. the only bit I'm confused about is in the quote, what stripe is 100mm thick and 'from the point 4mm'? im probably being thick
Measure 100mm from the point. At that point the stripe is 4mm thick. In other words it goes from point to 4mm to 12mm thick. He's trying to give you an idea of the rate of taper. Hope that helps
