Ok, Ok, maybe this should be in the wanted section, but the SC1000 brigade is pretty niche, so I thought I'd ask all of you to let me know if you see a good condition, Monoposto for sale anywhere in the UK. My wife wrote off her Buell last year and I think the SC1000 is the perfect bike for her, but of course she doesn't want a GT and doesn't fancy a fairing (wimmin are soooo fussy).... Please help. ...and no silly prices please. I know what these are really worth, even post trendy TRON - this is a ride, not an investment opportunity. Cash waiting...
There was a very nice Paul smart rep for sale on autotrader. Might still be there. Don't tend to see sc's come up very often. Matt
Thanks Matt I showed her that one (fairly reasonable price for once), but she doesn't doesn't want the fairing (low clip-ons too), so we'd have had to ruin a perfectly good bike by stripping it down.
Fair comment fella. I guess a trade would depend on the spec of your bike vs the spec of my wife. She is about 5'3, but extended in height by 6 inch heels on most days, quite eager on the throttle but rides extremely well, attractively decorated at all times, half American Indian, and has a gym-toned size 6-8 frame, with naturally dark skin, long black hair, brown eyes, and a tasteful black & white floral tattoo running the full length of her left arm. She also makes more money than I do. In exchange for an SC I'd expect it to have full Ohlins, WASP PowerUp Kit, Alpina tubeless wheels and custom paint at a minimum... ...and if she ever reads this post I'm dead. LOL.
dear forum it is with deepest regret and sympathy to inform you that DUTCH is most definitely dead ,his funeral if you wish to attend will be in the form of a roadside bomb ....unfortunately viewing of the body is not possible as the ohlins spring sticking out of his face well err ........looks a wee bit disconcerting ......................:biggrin:
