1200 Help Me Locate Where These Fastener Go

  1. I took my 2011 1200s apart a couple of months ago to do various jobs. Im putting it back together and cant seem to remember where these fasteners go. All fairings came off rear mudguards, belly pans fuel tank and even the airbox. I usually remember where stuff goes but I don't recognise the 3 fastener without a shoulder. Im pretty confident the 2 shouldered fasteners are for the fairings somewhere, but these take ab3mm allen key as opposed to a 4mm on all the others.

These are large M6 threads, 15mm head diameter, 14mm long. They are not the small M5 fairings screws.

  2. I’m pretty sure they are bellypan. A partsfiche should help though.

  3. The second set look like the rear hugger

  4. I've tried parts catalogues but little joy. The give next to no details of the fasteners. Ive tried Google give various possible PNs for images without much joy. They aren't belly pan fastener, that much i know (i replaced mine with stainless many years ago).

  5. Put them in the holes where you have them missing!

  6. I don't see any!

I found where the spare o-ring went before having to ask. It was from the oil separator to airbox junction. I didnt find the original until I'd put the fairings back on.

  7. There used all over the bike. Maybe the shoulders go under the front fairings compartment lids.

  8. I can remember have a couple left over after replacing a lot of the body work, nothing fell off!
