As topic says, I'm hoping someone on here can get a close up picture and helpful positional dimensions of the 'DUCATI' decal on the top fairing just above the headlight. The panel has been sanded back and repainted, ready for lacquer, but the painter forgot to measure the decal position before prepping...... Not too sure if it changed much from year to year, but this is for a 1994 916 Strada.
Can't do measuring as my 916 is somewhere else where there is room to work on it but this is a fairly good picture of it when it appeared in PSB mag so maybe a start.....
I can easily go any measure mine for you but my nose cone has also been painted so theres no guarantee its exactly in the right position. However it looks identical to that first picture so i would use that as a good guide. Go with visual rather than measurements. Send the painter that pic.
Thanks for that, I'll get that pic emailed over to the painter. The sad thing is, I've got that mag too, so should have checked it out....
That's an original fairing so the position is correct, also that's my 916 in the picture............... The "C" is directly in the middle above the lamp "fish-eye" in line with the gap between the E and V of CEV.
