  1. Hi
As the title says I am looking to sell my 749s. The bike a 2005 55reg (biposto) with the silver frame. It's got 9449 miles with a full dealer/specialist service history. Currently it's sorn with no mot.
What do you guys think it's worth? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

  2. Pics?

    Spend £100 on a DAS6 polishing kit.

  4. Bike looks very tidy mate , dont think there is any need for cleaning kit but a few bob on an moT would surely be a good thing ,, good luck .

  5. I sold an 05 999S with 7600 miles last year for £4700 - full Ohlins etc and it took a while to shift. I would say a bit less - £3K to £3.5K - do some Ebay research from bikes on auction if there are any.

  6. XP bikes has one in Larkhall just about to go on once its been cleaned up, doesn't look as tidy as yours. Might be a barometer...

  7. And £30 on a mot.

  8. Looks tidy, should be a fairly simple sale :)

  9. 749's are going up in value at the moment so there is no harm in starting a little higher and see what happens. Depends how quickly you need to shift it. Definitely MOT it though. Most buyers won't even look at bikes with no MOT. It adds value but a full MOT massively improves saleability.

  10. A couple in MCN this week for over 5k and a 999s for 7300!!
