Got a 3/4 inch drive knuckle bar approx 18 inches long and a breaker made of hollow iron measuring 9 ft total, bike on ground, in first gear, someone on bike with rear brake fully on... Correct socket used being pushed fully on... Won't move at all.... Any ideas... Pls... And no, sorry but I don't have any access to a compressor and yes I know it's right hand thread thanks.... Appreciate all your help thank you....
Take the bike down to your local tire garage and ask them nicely to remove it with the rattle gun. Steve
I am guessing 11/1098 or 848. Absolute front bottom of a job, if its been on sometime as they seem to take a "set" I've always managed with a breaker bar except one time I had to resort to my Clarke's mains electric rattle gun. Either buy one of them or get said motorcycle to the nearest garage/tyre shop, take the socket, ask nicely and have a fiver handy to grease mechanic/tyre fitter as required. When I got the Clarke gun it was about £50 dunno if they have gone up but its far stronger than most of the recharge jobbies, is cheap (like me) and has helped me out more than I care to admit John John

It was last undone at local ish Ducati dealer to fit new pilot tyres approx 9 months ago... Would like to take to my local tyre fitter but unfortunately it's in a fairly stripped state ( apart from the obvious rear suspension etc) as I was part way through a major rebuild / re style... Surely the rules of physics state that 9 ft of serious iron bar should crack a Ducati wheel nut.... Noods theory ... Bbx3m/85k/@1.5met1swn=bf Breaker bar x3metres with frustrated owner pulling at a height of 1.5metres equates to 1 stuck wheel nut = bloody frustrated...
Get someone to sit on the bike with long enough legs and strength to keep the bike upright.........put the bike in gear, brakes on etc.............fit a short tight socket and wrench. Then a decent extension bar ( 2'-0" scaffold pole say)..........fit it so that it trails forward rather than backwards; then jump on the b*gger. That way your all effort is going into the nut, not with half of it into trying to lift the rear end of the bike....
Have you got any way of playing a little heat onto the nut. CAREFULLY and not too much That should expand the nut a bit and free things up. Last resort tackticks
had one years ago on an r1 the nut had picked up a small bit of metal when put on it actually welded the nut on had to be cut off with new spindal ,if it wont go with a 9ft bar don't think out is gonna move it .
I have used a piece of wood through the wheel (something like cls stud timber), leave in high gear rather than low and turn away. If you are going to use heat then use a hot air gun rather than oxy/acet gear !!
stop cocking about with bars and shit and get a proper impact gun…….£60……..its worth it just for less hassle...
