Help With Model Number

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by philster, Jul 27, 2018.

  1. Hi, I have just purchased a 2017 Scrambler Icon, I am trying to get hold of an aftermarket slip on, I have been told by the supplier who advertised them for the 2017 Icon, they asked me what model I have?, I was not aware of different 2017 Icon models, can anyone help? The supplier asked me if I had E4 model number he could not help, Its my first Ducati so unfamiliar with how to identify it as I cant see any reference to E4 or similar in the paperwork, hope someone can help.

  2. Might be engraved on the Exhaust - Euro 4 emissions... E4

  3. Thanks for the quick reply! will have a look.

  4. If the bike you bought was originally supplied to the UK, it will be Euro 4 compliant. Can you post a link to the exhaust supplier ? Andy

  5. Most quality suppliers will just ask for the manufacturer make /model/year/reg number and with that information alone that should do the trick but some suppliers don't know arse from their elbow,
also you might want to remove your chassis number for security reasons:upyeah:
