Help With Retailer Based In Czech

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Etherion, Nov 19, 2016.

  1. Hello all,

I've hoping someone might be able to help on an issue i'm experiencing with a retailer based in Czech.

I ordered a pair of forged wheels for my Ducati 899 in April 2015 - and after a year of endless excuses, I have still not received a refund or the wheels.

This is a world reknowned retailer and they required a bank transfer at the time of purchase so I didn't have the fallback if I had paid with a credit card.

I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can sue them for the money or whether there is something similar to the small claim courts?

Last email from them was a week ago and its the same bs that they need another 3 weeks to refund the money.

    Thanks

  2. What are the wheels?

  3. Where are they based?

  4. There was a saga on the AF1 Aprilia forum a while back. Wheels ordered from a well known supplier. Delivery date put back and back and back. Eventually they turned up. They were worth the wait, apparently. I can't remember the supplier name...
I'd post a link to the saga, but the search facility on that forum isn't working today. If you want to search yourself, the user name was 'mikef4uk'.

  12. Name & shame them on all uk based motorbike forums. How much were they against buying some inside uk?

  13. Are we talking about Titax by any chance? For this was the company in question on the Aprilia saga I mentioned earlier.

  14. Do Titax not have a UK Ltd Company too?

  16. I presume you have an email trail with them admitting that they haven't supplied the goods and haven't yet refunded?
