Had the same problem,as you said,use a key ring.I did ,tied a bit of leather through it,job done.

 

I know at bikestop, stevenage, john sells replacement zip pulls for dainese kit if that helps.

I used these when the zip on my SIDI boots broke : Prym Zipper Pull - Black Zip Puller with Eyelet | eBay

 

I tried these but found they didn't last ... too flimsy

Whereas these look better ...

 

They do look loads better, especially for boot zips.

 

Been on nearly a year now and are still ok.

 

I might even upgrade my keyring on my sidi's

 

i got some snazzy little pulls that are actually for your suitcase when the zipper give, different colours available couple of quid from House of Frazer
