  2. Try Colin Stephenson of Melling near Kirkby Lonsdale he does Dyno and Engine tuning. He races bikes and knows his stuff. His Dad has Stephenson Motorcycles. Colin has his set up behind the Workshop. Hope this helps Ken and Welcome to the site.:upyeah:

  3. Has anybody had mapping done? What does the bike feel like after the mapping?

  4. Oh and has anybody done the ram air tube mod? Is it worth it? Thanks again

  5. Welcome to the forum

  6. Plus one for CJS there is none better from my experience.

  7. Not got my hyper done yet - but that's where its going (plus hes only a few miles from my house!!)

  8. Welcome and another:upyeah: for CJS

  9. Hello and welcome!

  10. Alright David?

  11. CJS is great IF you plan to mapped once and only once. It costs the same as buying a powercommander and getting a fuel map done so the is no financial gain in it, especially if you live miles away from a Bristol.

Now if it was the same price as an individual cylinder map session I would be advocating CJS every time.

  12. Think the point is if your bike is what you want to to be, no more mods like exhaust, filter, engine work, CJS the way to go. But ifyou intend to do other mods, its £500 every time to redo the map. With PC you just need the dyno time, c£200 a pop

I went CJS because I had dome all I was going to

  13. CJS can change/adjust everything controlled by the ECU, fuel, spark, timing, or anything, plus the original ECU has a much greater refinement of control, where as the Power Commander is much more rudimentary, plus you have to buy the P/C and then pay for set up, with CJS you just pay for set up/expertise. I wish this was available to us in NZ.

  14. Have a rev limit cut out helps to have added as well. I had one added for my bike as I use it for the odd track day here and there and that's something you cannot do with a power commander.

I think it's clear if it's as you want it and you don't want to change it then go the CJS route, if you intend to progressively change it then use a power commander and when all the work is done then change to the CJS route and finalise the setup.

  15. Hello and welcome  Hope you find some answers
