Afternoon, Long time scavenger of the help section, thought I'd sign up and introduce myself. Own a 996 with a 1098 engine in it. Odds and ends from 848 too. Because it just doesn't feel properly Italian if you're not constantly chasing electrical gremlins. ;-) A few photos: Mike.
I do like the 50 extra horsepower over the 996 engine, but honestly scares the s**t out of me any time I try to get the shift indicator to light up.
Sorry to disappoint. The admin that added me said "We love pictures, so definitely worth adding one!". Just following orders...
She's looked better. The throttle jammed open last year and I'm still putting it back together. Luck of paint and she'll be back to the former glory.
