I've an amazing chance to buy a good friend's 916 that he's owned and cherished from new. I've always said to him please let me know if you are going to sell her because, if I can afford it at the time, there's no other bike I'd rather own. During a riding break of 5 years or so (last bike a VFR 800 which I commuted around 16k a year on,) I've been on 4 wheels .... Anyway, to cut a long story short, the bike is finally for sale and I'm hoping to give her a new home. I appreciate that these beauties need lots of TLC and that's why I've signed up to the forum. I would probably only do 1k or so a year on her - it's just the chance to own my dream bike. Hopefully it will all work out and I'll be posting as the new owner. Best wishes Mike
