gents just picked up a 1098 s, been over the bike few tiny marks, anything major to look out for, came fully serviced, any known problems on these,did quite a bit of homework before buying, apart from an indicator fault , rides brilliantly!. secondly ,do they come with a passenger seat,as ive got a cover,. thirdly ,using them to travel on, guy gave me a tank bank, bit bigger than a carrier bag!!, any luggage recommendations racks etc ,where to source . cheers murf.
Welcome Regulator rectifiers can fail and a conversion to a mosfet R/R is a must do. Change the two relays on the right side of the battery box with new. These £1.99 parts cause no end of problems. Passenger seat clips on same way as the cover. If you didn't get the seat and foot pegs with the bike then they can be had off eBay. Personally, they live in a box in the garage. For luggage I have the Ventura rack and bag system. Get your suspension set up for YOU by a specialist it will transform your bike. Termis or Akras are a must have if you don't have them.
