  1. Hi everyone hopefully soon I will be getting a 1098 or a 848
Never had a ducati so is there anything I should look out for when buying I know there are the belts but I will be changing them as soon as I get one if it hasn't got reasonable history.
But is there anything esle I should look out for as you can tell am a bit green when it comes to ducati.
I had a bikes right though my life but never had one.
I have had in lines most of my life I had a rsvr for a bit as a race bike loved it but had to sell it as I bought a house last year.
Got a cheap in line again but I just prefer a v twin after riding the rsvr so long
    Many thanks
    Mark

Hello and welcome into the mad house

  5. Jeez.......another Yorkie!.....Hi anyway.:)

  6. Welcome mate. Ducati have their issues like any manufacturer, but so far (Fingers crossed) the niggles seem to be trivial. On my third multistrada which have all been used all year round, and have only had the odd lecky issue, fuel sensors, gear position sensor and a couple of other minor bits, but I do find the dealer back up and "good will gestures" to be 2nd to none. Engines appear bomb proof and have had no motor issues so far. Enjoy the new bike :upyeah:
